  • Booking

    • How many rooms can be booked at once?

      It is possible to book up to 3 rooms at once. If you would like to book more rooms, please contact us per phone or via e-mail. Special conditions for your reservation are already valid from 3 booked rooms per stay.

    • How can I book the apartment at the GÄSTEhaus am SCHLOSS in Schwetzingen?

      Short-term stay reservations of 7 consecutive days maximum can be booked directly at our web-site. We kindly ask you to contact us for booking a long-term accommodation of 8 or more days.

    • I need a Meeting/Conference room, what do I have to do?

      Are you interested in using our meeting room? Depending on the seating, the room can be in use by a group of up to 12 people. We would be happy to send you an individual offer.       Should you be requesting more space or plan a bigger event, you have an excellent opportunity to book meeting rooms of the Palais Hirsch. The premises dispose of fully equipped conference rooms with modern facilities. We at GÄSTEhaus are ready to help with the event organisation and refer you to the Palais management.

    • Do I need a Credit Card to make a booking?

      A Credit Card is requested for a guaranteed booking. By reservations without a credit card the room is confirmed for you till 6 p.m. at the arrival day (for regular bookings). By a non-guaranteed booking we reserve the right to provide the room further to other guests if you are arriving later than 6 p.m.

    • How can I make a group reservation?

      To make a group booking, please contact us per phone: +49 (6202) 92990 -0 or via E-Mail: buchung (at) gaeste-schloss.de.

    • Is the booking through gaeste-schloss.de safe?

      Yes, your booking is safe – particularly your credit card information and your personal data. This is guaranteed by a safe https-server which makes sure that all booking information is ssl encrypted and takes place in a safe environment.

  • Opening hours & Check-in/-out

    • What are the parking options at Hotel GÄSTEhaus am SCHLOSS in Schwetzingen?

      There is a public parking garage adjoining the house. Further parking spaces are available outside the house and in the neighbouring streets. Opened 24 hours

    • What are the reception opening hours?

      Our reception and thus our reception team provides for the following times for your well-being:
      Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
      Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
      Weekends and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

      Furthermore, you have the possibility to check-in and check-out 24 hours a day, using our modern access terminal at the hotel entrance.

    • What credit cards are accepted?

      We accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express and EC-cash cards. In addition, you have the opportunity to pay via PayPal when making reservations on our web-site.

    • When are the arrival and departure times?

      Our rooms are available for you from 3.00 p.m. on the arrival day and until 11.00 a.m. on the departure day. The option of arriving early is possible (a surcharge applies) and depends on our capacity, therefore the option is not guaranteed. In case of a late departure the room is provided for you at an extra fee till 3 p.m. on the departure day.

  • Facilities

    • Are there smoking and non-smoking rooms available?

      The hotel GÄSTEhaus am SCHLOSS in Schwetzingen is a non-smoking guesthouse. Smoking rooms are not available. For smokers we offer special smoking areas on the roof-terrace at the second floor and on our garden terrace.

    • Is there a mini-bar in the rooms?

      No, the rooms do not have a mini-bar. However, a range of beverages is offered at our bar.

    • Are there Pantries (Kitchenettes) in the rooms?

      Yes, in total there are 16 rooms that are equipped with kitchenettes. The kitchenettes feature a microwave, a kettle, dishes and cutlery, a refrigerator and a Senseo-Coffee maker.

    • Is there free Wi-Fi access?

      Free Wi-Fi is available in every room, as well as in the entire hotel.

    • Are there handicapped accessible rooms at the GÄSTEhaus?

      All the rooms are conditionally handicapped accessible. If you would like to have more information please ask at the reception or send us an e-mail. The public areas are free accesible and we also dispose a toilette for handicapped people in the basement which you can reach by elevator.

    • How are the rooms equipped?

    • Are the rooms air-conditioned?

      All our rooms have a central air condition to care for a pleasant house climate.

    • Can I open the windows in my room?

      Of course you can open the windows in all of our rooms at any times.

    • Does GÄSTEhaus have hypoallergenic bed linen, additional pillows and extra clothes hangers?

      We at the GÄSTEhaus will gladly provide you with hypoallergenic bed linen, a large assortment of pillows as well as extra clothes hangers for your room. Please indicate these wishes directly in your reservation (section "comments").

    • Is it possible to get an additional bed?

      Almost every room has the possibility of an additional bed (20 EUR).

    • Are the towels and bed linen regularly changed?

      Towels and bed linen are changed after three days if no other requests are made. The GÄSTEhaus also offers daily laundry change upon request. Messy laundry will be changed immediatly. At long-term stays the laundry is changed once a week.

    • Are pets allowed in GÄSTEhaus?

      Pets are allowed at the Hotel GÄSTEhaus am SCHLOSS upon request (additional fee applies). Kindly contact us in advance in case you would like to bring your pet with you, so we can inform you about the terms and conditions of your stay with a pet.

  • Breakfast & bar

    • At what time do we serve breakfast?

      Our buffet breakfast is offered from 6.30 a.m. - 10.00 a.m. on the weekdays and from 8.00 a.m.-12.00 p.m. on the weekends.

    • What type of food is offered at the breakfast?

      We offer a healthy and versatile breakfast assortment with high-quality products including those from the region. For guests with little time we additionally have a quick and easy alternative: our innovative breakfast-to-go package.

    • Which are the opening hours of the Bar?

      The Bar is opened daily from 12.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.

    • Can I and how can I book bicycles?

      Our competent partner "Bike & Fun" has a range of bicycles and also e-bikes and is located nearby. We would be glad to contact them and make a booking for you.

    • Do I have an opportunity to use a spa or receive a beauty treatment?

      We cooperate with several partners whose salons are located in the neighbourhood and/or come to our hotel. These include wellness- and health therapists, podiatry and classic foot care, manicure and varied beauty treatments. We would be glad to make an appropriate appointment for you.

    • Is it possible to book a long-term stay at the GÄSTEhaus?

      Yes, as a guesthouse we offer not only short-term but also long-term accommodation at special conditions with additional services. It is also possible to stay with us for many months.

    • How is the conference room equipped?

      The GÄSTEhaus disposes of one meeting room with a capacity for 12 guests maximum depending on the seating. Of course, all the modern conference technologies are available for your individual needs: a flip chart, a pin board, a mobile multifunction screen / TV (55 inch - Samsung LED TV UE 55 HU 7590) with wifi connection, a laptop, a printer (monochrome) and a facilitator’s kit.
